I've two Cannon.

An EOS 50e, which is the best and more recent, and a EOS 1000.
Plus several lenses, going from 28 upto 400 mm.

I'd like to have a 600 and a 1200 mm, but the price !....

Except in a zoo, never try it, Roshanak !
Giraffes can easily kill someone by a head knock
or by kicking, like do the zebras and and the horses.
I touch once the nose of a giraf (in a zoo !), and it's very soft.

Wild animals are all and always dangerous
if you don't know how to treat them, Roshanak !

Never trust a wild one, even when it seems domesticated.
Never heard about people working in circus who have been
injured or killed by animals they knew since years ??

About the headshot, I'm not really sure, but it's a batik
that seems been painted by a local artist from Bagamoyo
in Tanzania for decoration in a beach hotel, many years ago.
And in fact, I "steal" it (Lol) from the internet site of this hotel
some years ago. But now, it's already a long time they
don't use it no more...
I just feel sorry for the artist, but I don't know him (or her).
